WHAT KOREAN BUYERS ORDER

Shipyard blasting leads the demand

Korea's shipbuilding and steel sectors use large volumes of blasting grain for hull and plate preparation, most of it in the coarse F sizes. For that work the deciding factor is how slowly the grain breaks down across recycling cycles — our durable-grade grain, roller crushed and air-classified, is produced for repeated blasting use and is the grade we put forward for yard work.

Alongside blasting, Korean abrasive makers take F grit for bonded tools and P grit for coated products, and refractory users take section grain and fine powder. For stainless and corrosion-sensitive work, tell us in the inquiry — the low-iron first-grade band is the one to discuss there.
