Product and purchasing questions
Which brown fused alumina grades can I ask about?
CHAOYAN lists F grit models from F8 to F320, P grit models from P8 to P320, refractory grain fractions, fine powders and special processing options. Name the full prefix or size fraction in your request; a bare number can refer to different product families.
How do I choose a grit size?
Start with the finished product or surface requirement, then identify the correct product family. F grit is listed for bonded abrasives and blasting; P grit is listed for coated abrasives. Refractory grain is specified by a size fraction and formulation. Confirm the distribution and test method in the agreed technical specification.
Can the same grade be used for every application?
No single grade is suitable for every process. Blasting results depend on the substrate, pressure, nozzle and reuse cycle. Abrasive tool results also depend on the bond, backing, formulation and operating conditions. A controlled trial is the practical way to approve a candidate.
Where can I find chemical composition?
Individual product pages and English PDS files show published chemical values where available. Some products do not have a numeric public limit. For an order, request the agreed technical sheet and batch test result; a public range is not a substitute for the accepted purchase limit.
Can I request a sample?
Yes. State the product family, grade or fraction, intended use, target specification and quantity needed for the trial. If replacing a current material, a labeled working sample and its acceptance criteria help make the comparison meaningful.
What packing options are available?
Packing is confirmed for the specific order. Include the requested bag or bulk format, unit weight, labeling, destination and handling requirements in your inquiry so the quotation and documents describe the same supply.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No universal MOQ is published on this website. Send the model, requested quantity, destination and sample or repeat-order requirement. The team will confirm availability and commercial terms for that request.
Can particle shape or grading be customized?
Special processing and sample matching can be discussed. Provide the current sample, target particle shape, grading limits, chemistry requirements and process use. Feasibility and guaranteed values must be agreed in the order documents.
Is there an English PDS for each listed product?
Each of the 85 individual English product records has a matching downloadable PDS. Use the product page to obtain the correct file and check its document ID, grade and product link before using it in a purchasing review.
What happens after I submit an inquiry?
The website records the inquiry and sends it to lychaoyan@gmail.com. Include your application, grade or size, quantity and contact details. You receive an inquiry ID on screen and an English acknowledgement email; the team then reviews the requirement.
