Brown Fused Alumina F36 Guide for Industrial Buyers

Review the F36 product identity, published chemistry, physical rows, application fit and RFQ checklist.

TECHNICAL GUIDE / 2026-10-02

Short answer. CHAOYAN F36 is an F grit brown fused alumina model. Its English product page and PDS show the approved A and A-B specification columns; final guaranteed limits belong in the agreed technical sheet and batch test result.

Product identity and published values

The CHAOYAN product record identifies F36 as an F grit product for bonded abrasives and surface preparation. In the published specification, the F8–F80 band supplies the published Al₂O₃, TiO₂ and CaO ranges, and the F36 row supplies its magnetic content limits. The English product page copies those approved values rather than borrowing another model's sample composition.

A series range is useful for screening, but an order must define the required grade, distribution, chemistry limits, test method and packing. The F36 PDS is an inquiry document, not a substitute for a signed order specification.

Where F36 is considered

F grit is the relevant CHAOYAN product family for bonded abrasive tools and abrasive blasting. For a resin wheel, describe the bond and work material. For surface preparation, describe the substrate, pressure, nozzle, desired result and whether the abrasive will be reused.

If changing from another material or supplier, use a current sample and written comparison criteria. A label match alone does not confirm equivalent particle shape, distribution or process behavior.

Selection guidance

Request the F36 PDS, quote and sample together. Include the application, target specification, quantity, destination and packing preference so the response addresses both technical and commercial requirements.

Common mistakes

  • Reading the series chemical band as a batch guarantee.
  • Leaving the particle size distribution or grade column out of the RFQ.

Frequently asked questions

Can I download the F36 PDS?

Yes. The F36 product page links directly to its own English PDF with a QR code back to the product URL.

Does F36 fit both wheels and blasting?

It is in the F grit family used for those routes, but suitability for a particular process must be confirmed by specification and trial.

Specific chemical, size and performance values are subject to the agreed product specification, technical agreement and batch test result.
