TECHNICAL GUIDE / 2026-10-02
Short answer. F60 is an individual CHAOYAN F grit model for bonded abrasive and surface preparation inquiries. Check its own PDS, the agreed distribution and batch report; do not substitute a generic F series sheet.
What is published for F60
The CHAOYAN product catalog has a distinct F60 product record. The published specification places F60 in the F8–F80 chemical band and provides a model specific magnetic content row. The English PDS reproduces those available values and identifies the A and A-B columns.
The public source does not publish every possible particle distribution limit for the individual model. State the required standard, sieve limits and acceptance method in the order rather than filling that gap with a third party chart.
| RFQ field | Example detail to provide | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Grade | F60 | Avoid wrong model |
| End use | Wheel or blasting process | Check application fit |
| Distribution | Standard and acceptance limits | Check grading |
| Quantity / packing | Order requirement | Prepare quote |
How to trial F60
For a grinding wheel, hold the bond, wheel geometry and work material constant while evaluating the grain. For blasting, record pressure, nozzle, substrate, target finish and reuse. These conditions help explain the result and reveal whether a change in grain or process setting caused it.
Ask for a labeled sample, its batch documentation and the matching PDS. Before production supply, agree the grade column, chemistry, physical limits and batch report format.
Selection guidance
Open the F60 product page for its published table and direct PDS download. Use the inquiry form with F60 prefilled; add the intended process, target grade specification and purchase quantity.
Common mistakes
- Using F36 or a family sheet as a stand-in for the F60 record.
- Promising a finished-tool result based only on nominal grit grade.
Frequently asked questions
Is F60 chemistry shown on the product page?
The published specification provides series chemical limits for the F8–F80 band, which includes F60; order guarantees follow the agreed technical sheet.
What should accompany an F60 sample?
A model label, relevant PDS and the agreed test basis should accompany a meaningful process trial.
