For abrasive blasting contractors, shipyards and steel fabricators in Mexico, CHAOYAN brown fused alumina cuts fast, leaves the anchor profile your coating specification asks for, and can be recycled several times in a blast room. It is the working alternative where silica sand is no longer acceptable and slag abrasives do not deliver the rate or the finish.
A hard (Mohs 9), sharp, angular grain with no free crystalline silica: it strips rust, mill scale and old coatings to the specified cleanliness grade with less dust than soft mineral abrasives.

Direct from the factory
- Plant in operation since 1999; the current company, Luoyang Naibao New Materials Co., Ltd., was registered in 2013 and exports directly.
- Combined supply capability: around 80,000 tonnes per year across grains, sectional sands and powders.
- In blast rooms with recovery systems, the grain stays effective over multiple cycles — the cost per square metre cleaned drops compared with single-use abrasives.
Packaging and delivery
- FOB Tianjin pricing, 20' and 40' full containers.
- Packaging to your choice: 25 kg bags, 1–1.25 t jumbo bags, palletised with shrink film; we also fill buyers' own bags for private label.
- Payment: 100 % T/T in advance.
- Full-container dispatch in about 7 days after payment; trial orders in 10–15 days. Usual arrival ports: Manzanillo, Altamira and Veracruz (ocean transit not included in FOB).
- Free sample up to 500 g to test cutting speed and profile in your own blast room; you only cover the courier.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Which grit should I use for structural steel? A: For general steel cleaning and pre-coating preparation, F16–F46 is the usual range; finer grits (F60–F120) suit surfaces that need a lower profile. Tell us the cleanliness grade and profile you target and we will recommend the grit.
Q: How many times can it be reused? A: It depends on pressure, nozzle and your recovery system; as a Mohs 9 grain it stays effective over multiple cycles, unlike slags and soft abrasives that break down after one or two passes.
Q: What is the minimum order? A: Trial orders start at one tonne. Regular pricing is per full container, FOB Tianjin.
Q: Which documents ship with the cargo? A: Certificate of analysis per lot, packing list, commercial invoice and bill of lading.
